College of Health and Human Services
The College of Health and Human Services was formed in 1994 in order to provide quality education for professional practice in a variety of areas associated with health and human services. The college aspires to the highest standards of educational excellence, blending a professional perspective with a liberal arts and science foundation. Within the College of Health and Human Services are the School of Nursing, the Department of Human Services which includes rehabilitation and social work, the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion, and the Department of Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Education Program. The college is committed to meeting the challenges of the next decade; hence it emphasizes quality teaching and values scholarly activity. The college is committed to the development of its students into knowledgeable, caring, responsive and self-directed individuals able to meet the health and human caring needs of a diverse and complex society through change, advocacy and leadership within their communities.
