Troy University students prepare to ring in Chinese New Year with Jan. 31 celebration

TROY - The Troy University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) will celebrate the New Year of the Horse with the annual Chinese Spring Festival Celebration on Friday, Jan. 31 at the Troy Campus.

The event will include traditional Chinese food and a variety of entertainment provided by TROY students.

"The Spring Festival is an event of vital significance in China," said Jack Dong, president of CSSA. "We are excited about the performances we have scheduled and traditional Chinese food will be served. We hope the community will join us for this wonderful night."

The event will kick off at 5 p.m. in the Trojan Center Ballroom and is open to the public. Tickets are $11 for students and $17 for non-students and are available at 116 Pace Hall on the Troy Campus.
