Biographical Sketch: Mary Lucy and William (Bill) Floyd are life-long Dothan residents, very actively involved in community affairs. Mrs. Floyd was a charter member of the Dothan Landmarks Foundation, Inc., Board of Directors. AWHC has these images because the Floyds responded to the Community Photo Day of AWHC and Landmark Park, 2-15-03.
Scope / Content: Photographs, memoirs, audiotaped interviews, and ephemera documenting the mid-twentieth-century lives of Mary Lucy Floyd, her husband William Jefferson Floyd, and her brother William Campbell. Most of the materials concern their lives during World War 2, though some photographs are later and some ephemera earlier.
Access: Open for research and limited copying. For profit use requires approval by the Floyd executors.
