Dear Brother Hardy I Received your Leter containing the Power of Atytorney and The Order Which I was verry glad to get. and the Reason Why I didnot put the Parish and date to the Other one was that I Never read you leter untill I Had mal’d mine to you. you may think that I didnot cear aney thing about you leter But it is a mistake for I was in a hurry when I wrote. I was in Minden When I rote it and didnot Expect to go aney more soon so you must Excuse that. Hardy I am Glad that you have takin a Nocion to move at last and as for renting land you can rent Just about Sutch as you want hear, though Probberly you ant Awere of the renting Prices they verry from, two To three dollars and fifty cents per achor,...Brother Daniel sends you an Order to get his money from Bro, Josey. as for Texas I am a going thare in a verry short time and When you get hear probbaly I can tell you What sort of a Cuntry it is, though I am inclind to think that you will be sattesfied hear We have splended crops hear and it is raining hear like smoke know. I Want you to bring Sister Frances With you and be shure to make her come what ever you do I haveent Nothing of aney intrust to write to you you must write soon. This leaves us all well and I hope it may find you and your family Enjoying the same Nothing more but I remain you Bro untill deth &tc.
