Organizational Sketch:  Formalized working group of cultural organizations in Dothan. Members included the Wiregrass Museum of Art, Dothan Landmarks Foundation, Inc., Dothan Wiregrass Art League, Festival of Murals, SEACT, SEADC, Library, etc, Symphony Association, Arts & Humanities Council, Downtown Group, and City of Dothan Performing Arts Division.

CauseIQ.com reports SARAA incorporated in 1994 and its most recent tax filing (Form 990-N) was posted in 2018.  Evidence in the By-Laws file indicate SARAA tried to incorporate in 1992.

Scope / Content Note:  Member orientation and business documents, including draft of incorporation/by-laws, headquarters building assessment, a member contract, meeting minutes (sporadic), monthly financial statements, membership rosters, marketing plan, and records of the Dothan festival of arts, "Kaleidoscope" 1996 and 1997.

Provenance:  As Executive Director of Dothan Landmarks Foundation, William Holman was a member of SARAA. He accumulated these documents during the 1990s.
