By choosing a program in TROY's esteemed Sorrell College of Business, you'll also have access to the Center for Global Scholars, where you'll have opportunities to study abroad, meet professionals from international and domestic companies and engage with a vast network of partner schools around the world, including those located in Asia, Australia, South America and Europe. For example, students in the Global Scholars program spent spring break in 2022 studying global business practices and service learning in Ecuador.

Dr. Courtney Baggett

Dr. Courtney (Bass) Baggett, Director of the risk management and insurance program, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics, Finance and Risk Management and Insurance. A 2012 graduate of TROY's RMI program, Dr. Baggett was appointed director of the RMI program in August 2019. She earned her Ph.D. at Florida State University in 2016 and holds the CPCU, ASLI and ARM professional designations.
