Dr. Pamela Lemoine - Program Contact

Dr. Lemoine teaches global leadership, higher education and instructional leadership at TROY. She has lived and worked in several countries over 13 years, including Japan, Germany and Canada. Her research interests include globalization, global educational leadership, international higher education, immigrant and refugee children, the impact of digital technology and E-learning.
Dr. Filomeno Arenas

Dr. Filomeno Arenas

Dr. Fil Arenas holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University. He is published in areas like toxic leadership, emotional intelligence, and virtual immersive learning. A retired USN Medical Service Corps officer, he served as a Healthcare Administrator in various medical facilities and a 40-bed hospital aboard an aircraft carrier. As the Medical Administrative and Radiation Health Officer aboard the USS Carl Vinson, Dr. Arenas supported the medical needs of nearly 10,000 sailors.
Dr. Basil Read

Dr. Basil Read

A retired Navy captain, previous professor at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and leadership consultant, Dr. Read brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in international leadership to the School of Education. A Navy subspecialist in international relations, he worked extensively with Caribbean and Latin American governments and navies to promote democratic principles of conduct and multinational interoperability. He is a past secretary general of the InterAmerican Naval Conference. His research interests include leadership, followership, ethics, gatekeeping, influence and team dynamics.

Stephanie Lewis

Dr. Stephanie Lewis is a Professor of nursing. Her main research interests include vulnerable populations, end-of-life care, nursing moral distress, neonatal intensive care/pediatric nursing issues, reflective practice (action research) and nursing education. Dr. Lewis's clinical focus is neonatal intensive care, pediatric nursing and health promotion.
Dr. Stacey J. Jones

Dr. Stacey J. Jones

Stacey J. Jones, DNP, FNP-BC, is a Professor and DNP Coordinator at Troy University, specializing in family practice and primary care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, along with an MSN (FNP) and BSN from Troy University. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Jones has published extensively on topics such as nurse practitioners' confidence in advance directives and evidence-based practice. A member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi, her research interests include chronic disease management, psychiatric and mental health issues, and LGBTQ+ care.
