A Master's in Kinesiology with Two Tracks

Whether you want to become a strength coach, clinical exercise specialist or Ph.D. student, TROY's master's in kinesiology focused on exercise physiology empowers you to achieve your goals with a thesis and non-thesis option. The thesis track allows you to conduct original research, making it ideal if you plan to pursue doctoral work or a career in exercise science research. The non-thesis option replaces research with an intensive internship experience to provide applied skills and connections in an area of kinesiology and exercise science. These options ensure you'll receive the most relevant training for future exercise physiology jobs and kinesiology and exercise science careers.

Graduate Assistantship Opportunities

At TROY, you'll have the opportunity to further enrich your kinesiology master's degree through competitive graduate assistantships. You'll receive hands-on experience in teaching, research or laboratory settings while working directly with faculty mentors and receiving funding for your education. Working as a graduate assistant allows you to develop versatile skills, build your resume and prepare for kinesiology and exercise science careers, particularly if you're interested in research.
