Bachelor of Science in Music IndustryTwo faculty members from TROY's College of Communication and Fine Arts performed at New York City's Carnegie Hall on July 15. Presented by Parma Recordings, the concert featured the works of TROY Professor Emeritus Dr. Carl Vollrath. Dr. Heather Small, Associate Professor of flute, and Dr. Ben Crook of piano, performed flute and piano sonatas, “The Glass of Absinthe,” the premiere of “Ravel Revival” and more.
In 2021, Associate Professor of Design Chris Stagl initiated the beginning of a collaborative partnership with the University of Zaragoza's Fine Arts Center in Spain, eventually leading to a 2024 trip abroad to the small, “forgotten” town of Teruel and the production of a documentary. "A Portrait of Teruel" examines why students and residents love their community.
