50 Years of Journalism Education
The Hall School of Journalism and Communication is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, ending with the return of the once annual Journalism Alumni awards banquet. This year the event will be the 50th Anniversary Ball.
The Hall School of Journalism and Communication and the Troy Alumni Association invite Hall School alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to join in a night celebrating half a century of educating trustworthy and ethical journalists.
Please consider nominating an outstanding alumnus for awards specific to public relations and advertising, broadcast journalism, multimedia journalism and school service at the blue button below. This year there will also be awards for Young Alumnus of the Year and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
This special celebration event will be April 23, 2022 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Trojan Center Ballrooms on the campus of Troy University. Tickets are $15 for students, $30 per person or $50 per couple and can be purchased by check, cash or money order through the Troy University Alumni Association at Alumni Affairs, 100 Highland Avenue, Troy, AL, 36082, or online here.
